Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Isle Of Canna

Café Canna

West Bothy, Isle of Canna PH44 4RS, UK – 01687 482488

I wish I could eat here every day. The food is amazing and totally unexpected on this island. The staff are friendly sand helpful. We ate here every day we were on Canna, and it was something I looked forward to in my days there. It's the only restaurant on the island, and it was one of my favorite places we ate during our two-week trip around the Highlands.

Only a short stop for a late lunch whilst on an AquaExplore boat trip hour long stopover. The homemade lentil chickpea and chilli soup was superb. The dinner menu made me want to go back and try the salt and pepper squid squid starter, rabbit stew and lobster. The location is idyllic. There will have to be a next time!

Tighard Guest House

Tighard, Isle of Canna PH44 4RS, UK – 01687 462474

From arrival to sad farewell I loved this place. Our hosts were constantly friendly and helpful. The house was a total joy as was the amazing food. Can't speak highly enough about this little price of heaven.

Tighard, and Colin and David, made my few days on Canna the most blissful time, and I wished I could stay there forever. I started contemplating a return almost as soon as I got home. Their house, their care of their guests, and their attention to detail, was well over and above my expectations.

Canna

Canna

What an amazing, enchanted small island. The ferry trip alone is worth the visit. There is so much to explore and find out about on Canna that you will need 3 days to truly feel you have given yourself enough time. The cafe is fantastic.

Great wildlife, historic buildings, good cafe, quiet and isolated.
